We can transport you, your pet, and your luggage safely and comfortably to the airport. Or, if you can’t be there, we can assure that your pet is properly picked-up or dropped-off at the airline.

Our drivers have the necessary clearance to accept pets from airline cargo pick up, making the process smooth and hassle-free.

U&Pet Airport Courier serves all major Washington DC airports including Reagan National (DCA), Washington Dulles (IAD), and Baltimore (BWI) — picking up and dropping off to any location in the Beltway area.

FAQs

Does my pet travel next to me in the car or in a crate?

Generally, we prefer that your pet rides like you, sitting on a seat. However, we will defer to your preference.

If I am flying into Reagan National Airport (DCA), where should I meet my driver?

Your driver will be in their respective vehicle, curbside by Door 2, unless otherwise specified.

If I am flying into Washington Dulles International (IAD), where should I meet my driver?

Your driver will be in their respective vehicle, upstairs curbside by Door 2, unless otherwise specified.

If I am unable to fly with my dog on the same flight can you accommodate his transportation and boarding?

Yes, we would be able to assist in picking up your dog and caring for him/her for as many nights as needed. We will also provide transportation from the boarding site to the requested destination.

Can U&Pet pick up my pet from the airport without me?

Yes, we can pick up a pet from the airport without the owner. If the pet is flying as excess baggage, it will need to be accompanied by someone on the flight and that individual can meet the driver for transport.

If the pet is flying via cargo, you will need to contact the cargo area to ensure that the driver information is provided to the cargo attendees for release of your pet to U&Pet. We will provide all necessary information for this to be possible.

How can I contact my driver if I do not have a working US phone number upon arrival?

You will be provided with contact information of your driver prior to your ride. We have international messaging apps such as WhatsApp and Skype available for communication over the free airport WiFi.

How far in advance should I book my ride?

We ask that you provide us at minimum a 24-hour notice, but the earlier the better to ensure your travel needs are met.

If I have a lot of luggage or need a larger vehicle for transport, what are my options?

U&Pet has larger vehicles available to transport multiple pets, crates, and luggage. We ask to know in advance so that we can plan accordingly. If we need to use the larger vehicles, an additional $49 will be added to the flat fee (if the ride has pick-up/drop-off within the capital beltway).

Why is it important to disclose the size and amount of luggage I will be traveling with?

It is critical that we know the number of pieces of luggage and their respective sizes to ensure that we use a vehicle that will comfortably and securely fit your transportation needs.

If I get delayed in customs, will the driver wait for me?

Yes, the driver will wait for you. If the delay is substantial, then we may increase the price of the ride in accordance with how much time the drive had to wait ($10 per any additional 30-minute block).

What happens if my flight is delayed?

In the event your flight is delayed we will not leave you without a ride at the airport. Your U&Pet driver will park the car at the waiting area as needed. If the delay is substantial, then we may increase the price of the ride in accordance with how much time the driver had to wait ($10 per any additional 30-minute block).

How long after my international flight arrives should I book transportation?

Please provide at minimum 30-45 minutes between your anticipated flight arrival time and the transportation reservation. This will allow for any airport or airlines delays, you to go through customs and immigration and claim any luggage.
